Strengths + Weaknesses exercise to focus on what works

Write down a goal.

Make it big, but it doesn’t have to be.

Okay good.

Now, what skills and abilities will you need to hit that goal?

Write them down now.

Beautiful, good job.

Now, make 4 columns.

From left to right you have:

  • Strengths
  • Not skilled, but interested
  • Not skilled, not interested
  • Weaknesses

Now place each thing in the first list inside of the appropriate column

Now, take a look at your columns and see where you can focus and where you may want to delegate.

Depending on what your goal is, it may be worth outsourcing some of column 3 and 4 so you can focus on the first 2.
